Here's my first attempt. I like it, but I don't love it. A friend suggested the yarn is too big and it looks clunky. She's right. The pattern calls for a finer yarn, but I'm trying to use up my stash. I'm calling this a learning experience, frogging it, and looking for another pattern.

@inconspicuous-lurker-99 I think it just didn't match the image I had in my head (or the example photo with the pattern). It will rock with finer yarn.

#crochet@gikkt it's really pretty, but I see your point about it being clunky. Definitely think a finer yarn with good stitch definition would work better!
