No actual messages of consequence are being conveyed when you slow from 80 to 78 in your ev.
Brake lights on the highway should be reserved for actual not- normal speed changes, but no.... This is our reality now
Brake lights on freeways are pretty meaningless on most cases

Honestly, it's a driver skill issue at the core.
I was taught early on that brakes on highway are a last resort.
Shit, just in general, brakes should be a last resort.
Way too many times I see some random driver brake, then change lanes, when simple lane change would have sufficed.
I really wish rigorous drivers ed was a reality in the U.S.
