    I was cleaning out the glass display aquarium from the "Ant Show" earlier this week and found that one worker had managed to hide in there all week! She's been separated from her colony for days in some ant version of #thebackrooms -- she seemed very happy to go back home and is now in a big pile with her sisters grooming them and being groomed.

    She hid for days but today she was out in the open just running around in the otherwise empty aquarium ...desperate and that's how I spotted her.

      She's had nothing but water for 4 days, but they can last over a week. I'm glad she stopped hiding.

            @futurebird is this a show about ants? Or just show and tell with some ants in person? I’m in dire need of long-form video just showing ants in their colony doing their thing for hours at a time. My cat demands this and I can’t find much of it.

                @kaced

                It's an assembly I do for the lower school kids with slides and videos and they get to meet the ant colony after.

                  Some ants are too sneaky for their own good. I really did check every corder and thought I removed them all!

                    @futurebird well, I'm glad the nightmare of being the Last Ant On Earth ended for her! I can't imagine the relief of seeing her loved ones again, what an experience!
