      @zenrenji @cmconseils
      Nope. They have full rights to do that.

      Do you run a website maintained by paid workers and/or high hosting costs? If yes, how do you pay the costs? Pay wall or ads?

      I personally never block ads; only certain trackers. If I think the website has too much (obstructive) ads, then probably has not very good content and I'll never visit it again.

          Have you read my last paragraph?

          I've never experienced getting on a website showing porn ads unless I was looking for porn (...).

          My experience is that websites with high-quality content almost never contain too many advertisements.

                      @marc_eu @zenrenji maybe if advertisers weren't greedy and constantly making ads worse, they wouldn't be blocked. they couldn't just be static images. they had to use flash, they had to track you, and they had to consume more resources than the actual page.

                      also ad networks suck at keeping bad actors from buying ads. so blocking them is reasonable for security alone.

                                      TV commercial breaks were for going to the kitchen for snacks, or going to the washroom. Or going to put on pajamas, to get ready for bed.
