There was a great animated video comparing CO2 credits to buying "cheat on your wife" credits, but it appears someone managed to get the Internet to take down the ad completely (not on YouTube, not on Facebook, not anywhere). Unsure if they were DMCA'd to death or sued, but it no longer exists anywhere.

Since his promise, under 1,000,000,000 have been planted, and climate wildfires have burned 75,000,000,000 trees.

This is not hyperbole. A hundred years of commercial logging is less loss.

Tough to get tree seedlings to grow when its too hot and too dry. We should consider more resilient shrubs that grow fast and can be harvested for fibre.
