    OK folks, time for practical stuff. Simple sewing projects: tool rolls. They are incredibly useful and versatile, especially if you make them for specific needs. And, they're a forgiving sewing project because they just need to work, not be pretty. I've made many of them, from small and light to massive canvas things for heavy tools. Today's sample is a section of old pants leg from the scraps bag, made into a roll for my luthier nut files.

          @jack_daniel Bonus, if you add two eyelets to the top, you can hang them from a wall too.

                  they are *so* handy. not just for tools. for tinwhistles, pens/pencils, etc. they protect and organize. plus, you get to pretend you're a surgeon or serial killer as you lay out your tools for a job. 😉
