    I like to think I'm a competent IT professional with the skills to get stuff done and solve problems. I think I've accomplished a lot in my career and hobbies so far.

    But printers remain the one _fucking thing_ which consistently make me question my own sanity and are the primary driver of imposter syndrome for me.

      @logan I have a good printer that I've been using for 10+ years. It's like 50% that it'll work on a given day. No amount of rebooting or cajoling fixes in when it doesn't feel like working. It makes me crazy!!

        @logan before CUPS, lpr was more reliable than lp and Windows was already mangling HPCL & PostScript at that time.
