    this oughta keep me outta trouble for a bit...

    I've never even heard of these manufacturers, but I'm lookin forward to gettin em back in service

    dude has so many more machines he wants serviced - he gave me a postcard with a postmark from 1910

      when i started getting into teens/1920s tenor banjos, i learned about manufacturers i'd never heard of, got stories from families of older family members who'd played, etc.

      history is important and interesting anyway but things that real folks that touched things, passed on things, finding those traces, is even more amazing.

        @paul_ipv6 right?! imagine all the music created and enjoyed on those things, or the things written with these machines - history is very important
