@coleens_ 404 had a great discussion with someone on a recent podcast about gambling as it changed to video screens, lessons that can be learned for social media, AI use, and these prediction markets. Definitely has me thinking more about these things

@coleens_ as an addict, I don't know if my personality extends to gambling, but I've also never given it a chance after 18 years sober. Not even gonna go there one little bit
Like alcohol advertisements, these predictive market ads stick out like a sore thumb to me now

as a fellow addict, and someone who's bipolar, for soon reason, gambling always seemed like an obvious scam to me - unlike chemicals, risky relationships, skydiving, or driving like a mad woman
