    How do you all feel about #SmartGlasses❓I can understand their usefulness in museums, historic sites, on hikes, even in meetings. But I tend to think folks who wear them in public places, on public transportation or in clubs are #Glassholes. I def don’t like the idea of being recorded without my knowledge or permission, nor the indisputable fact that some vendor or third party will have access to images of me or my family. #privacy #surveillance #consent

      @CharlieMcHenry I remember liking the concept as a kid — not to surveil people but to overlay reality with metadata, like when performing medical diagnoses and things. If the environment is intentionally consensual, that would be baller.

      The problem, as with many things in tech and life, is lack of consent.. imho.

        @CharlieMcHenry i get the privacy concerns, but the potential for cool, helpful apps in places like museums is pretty exciting too.
