    FIFA is panicking: World Cup hotel cancellations are surging as global fans ditch the U.S., citing soaring costs, visa bonds, and Trump’s dictatorial behavior.

    Turns out nobody wants to pay $1,000 a night just to experience an authoritarian simulation.

    @Strandjunker That Fifa-peace-award-thing was a turning point, possibly, maybe. ⁉️😇

            @Strandjunker
            This orange guy threatens and insults others as he pleases.
            The entry requirements for the U.S. are a threat to democrats.
            And ICE is a threat to everyone, but especially to foreigners.
            How stupid do you have to be to travel to the U.S. as a foreigner?

              @Strandjunker At least when they held it in authoritarian countries before, that $1,000/night was going to being treated like a god instead of a price gouged Motel 6

                                          @Strandjunker 🙏 right signs.
                                          I'm curious.
                                          People pay a lot to watch soccer, but when they're not allowed?...
