He's badly mistaken if he thinks ordinary MAGAs want to be *actual* "holy warriors." They want to be "holy warriors" against elementary school librarians and helpless trans children. A shooting war that takes out the economy and the cost of living and potentially their kids is way more martyrdom than MAGA signed up for.

True enough, the only "righteous" cause MAGAts are truly comfortable with is punching down on the defenseless. But I don't think that would stop them from shoving their own children into the furnace of war. Think of all the stupid-and-proud anti-vax moms who have gone on record with "I'd loose another kid to measles, fuck yeah! " Admitting mistakes is like public seppuku for MAGAts.

True, we already saw that with Covid, but that's where the economy comes in. The lifted truck crowd ain't gonna be too stoked for $5 gas, at the very least.

And the potential losses in war are already peeling off support too. I am long gone from the dead bird site but I do snoop around on xcancel and see reposts. More Nazis crashing out and turning on Trump all the time.

I too wish like all hell it'd happen faster but MAGA is coming unraveled.
