Yeah, so, we just had two power surges about 20 seconds apart. My NAS, along with like 90% of my homelab infra, including my Bsky PDS, are currently down, because I'm hesitant to turn the NAS machines back on, lest we blow a fuse. I don't know if I'm the cause, but I still feel guilty for using so much electricity.
So, uh, I'm not sure if I should start thinking about separating some of my services.
I'm also questioning why I'm even running a Bsky PDS at all. (My excitement about anything atproto has all but fizzled out).
My brain is kind of in a knot right now on how to handle this in a future-friendly manner.
Do I move all NAS stuff to significantly less power-hungry devices like my Orange Pi 5+'s.

Interesting: my genZ niece texted our family group chat that there's a fire near her work. Apparently a substation blew up. That might explain the power surges. I'm going to keep things powered down for the time being, tho. Let the grid have some time to recover. And I'm still rethinking my setup.
