I have been saying and seeing this for a while. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his far right coalition has essentially gutted future support for Israel.
While the boomer generation (and yes my Gen X was also complicit) Israel has enjoyed unlimited political and financial support since its inception to the tune of over $300,000,000,000 dollars and during the recent genocide / invasion up to 20% of its defense budget came from US Taxpayers. Israel has conducted false flag operations (Lavon Affair), sold secret tech to china (Lavi Fighter), the USS Liberty, and relentless espionage for nuclear and commercial information (Netnayahu was involved) see the "dancing Israelis" of 911, Jonathan Pollard, AIPAC espionage scandal at al.
However, that unconditional support is now dropping like a stone. Israel will find itself with few friends and less support thanks to Bibi's endless war which is soly intended at keeping prosecutors away from him and his wife's corruption
U.S. Aid to Israel in Four Charts | Council on Foreign Relations
Israel has long been the leading recipient of U.S. foreign aid, including military assistance. That aid has come under heightened scrutiny over the course of Israel’s conflicts with Hamas and Iran.

"Bottom line: These data point to a significant threat to one of the foundations of Israel’s national security. Alongside a series of surveys published in recent years, they suggest that there is currently no young cohort within the general U.S. population that can be said to view Israel positively. Even among older groups, a negative image of Israel is becoming entrenched. If this trend continues, it could very soon produce a reality in which Israel lacks a stable political base of support in either party."

I wonder what odds prediction markets are taking on whether Bibi will die in office or face a jury.

@cvvhrn We can blame Carter for that, at least a large amount of it.
