@darfplatypus it’s hard to know about the underlying operating system, but the version of mastodon they are running went end of support this time last year, and there’s been a number of significant vulnerabilities fixed since then, but none that I know of which would result in a server compromise. It’s behind Cloudflare, so they get a little bit of benefit from that I’m sure.
