Scotia-Glenville Central School District in Scotia, Schenectady County, New York, says its Facebook page was hacked, though the incident does not appear to have had operational impact on the district.

Officials said internal servers and data systems were not compromised. That keeps this below our usual threshold for a full write-up, but it is still an interesting reminder that hijacked social media accounts can create phishing, impersonation, and public-trust issues for schools and other public entities.
