Just saw a wild pheasant for the first time in my life, like in all those old paintings. Europe is real!

I have also seen deer, bunnies, baby sheep, horses, cows, ducks and at least one good dog other than Odin

@0xabad1dea Europe is a make believe fairy land that people talk about only to criticize the USA.

@0xabad1dea when I was in England I saw a couple foxes, but not since I've moved here. I've seen wild hedgehogs though!

@ratsnakegames no I was at baby cousin’s house, but there’s a lot of over the river and through the woods involved

I've heard of this Europe. I have even spent time there. But I don't believe it's real. /j

That’s cool! Hope you see even more animals, though maybe not wolves or moose, those are kind of scary to meet out and about. (I would know…)

I like to think about how common it is to see wild animals in different parts of the world. Personally, I see these animals on about a weekly basis 🙂

we saw a crane flying very low, and my husband commented that it’s big but surely it’s nothing compared to the eagles where I’m from, and I had to break it to him that bald eagles are quite rare (almost went extinct, though apparently that’s on the mend) and I had seen precisely zero of them in thirty years in the US
