The FreeCAD Project Association has renewed the bug bounty program it launched last year. The budget is once again €5,000. The rules are simple: fix 5 confirmed issues from the FreeCAD GitHub issue tracker and receive a reward of €250. @freecad Love seeing open source projects like FreeCAD investing in security through bug bounties. €250 for 5 confirmed fixes is a great way to incentivize community contributions while strengthening the codebase. More projects should follow this model.
