my sister has a background in theatre costuming, in college and professionally.

in high school, she created a pattern for a renaissance velvet doublet with pierced sleeves. she made it, along with a matching small cap w feather, and wore them to high school.

these days, i guess she'd be an influencer. back then, just "one of those weird theatre geeks".
