      @Kama11 pardon my noob question, but how does the interface work between max and other apps? Is it some kind of virtual audio interface? Some special type of bus?

        @logotype Hey!
        With this setup I only send stuff between Max and Live via UDP. If I use VSTs, they are nested inside a m4l patch which communicates with my patches in standalone. the Max sound modules I ported to m4l too. The basic method is straightforward, just udp send/receive combos on both ends. Organizing the data took some tinkering cause I control the presets of the m4l patches and states of Live stock devices from standalone. Not sure if this helps but feel free to ask!
