King Charles III literally just told the USA Congress that executive power is "subject to checks and balances" by Congress 👀

He then said, "This is the reason that there stands a stone by the River Thames at Runnymede where Magna Carta was signed in the year 1215..."

King Charles III emphasized the value of diversity and "valuing people of all faiths and of none."*

Note: BOTH sides of the aisle (Republican & Democrat) stood and clapped at this point and the one in the first post of this thread.

Speaking to the US Congress, King Charles III called for peace and said he hopes that "working together" (the UK & US), "and with our international partners," we can "stem the beating of plowshares into swords."

@dalfen So the US Congress is getting a lecture from the king of England about how there are supposed to be limits to executive power.

I suppose since he's being all diplomatic he won't explicitly point out whose job it is to impose those limits.
