If you’re ever in Paris and need fast wifi and power and a place to work and take meetings, Hubsy locations are pay per hour (or by the day) locations where you pay a flat hourly rate and you get all of that plus beverages and snacks

EUR 6 per hour, or EUR 23 for 5 or more hours
There are a limited no of rooms you can book to take calls in
Certainly much better than yelling in a McDonalds (they have great wifi), or a crowded cafe with poor wifi (where it’ll also be rude to try to talk and work when people are socializing!)

There are some good coworking spaces but they close at 5pm, 7pm at the latest. The Hubsys are open till 8:30 (my work day when I’m here is usually work in the evenings.. given the time diff)

If you are in the middle of Paris, my go-to place is "myCowork - Montorgueil les Halles", 54 rue Greneta, which is a pretty chill place with good coffee and tea.
Paid by the hour as well. Reasonable prices.

@skinnylatte curious about how they enforce hours. I assume it's a trust thing? Or is there some kind of fancy wifi cutoff?

@jeromechoo they have a card you get when you arrive, and when you leave you give it to the barista to pay
