@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon But very efficient. And the bosses always say :" work more! You have to be more efficient!"

Illustration: the trunk and low branches of a green leafy tree.
Caption: “Something to think about: The Earth is 4.6 billion years old. Let's scale that to 46 years. We have been here for 4 hours. Our industrial revolution began 1 minute ago. In that time, we have destroyed more than 50% of the world's forests.
This isn't sustainable.”

@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon And yet no person in the American administration cares.

@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon We actually started well before the IR, but we've gotten very efficient since then.
Anyway, to your point: We're going to be in really deep trouble in the next 60 seconds or so? -
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon slightly misleading, as trees have only been around for about 3 years max, in this scenario, and the specific trees that we’re currently talking about date only to the end of the last ice age, which was a hair over an hour ago.
So yes, unsustainable, but not nearly so dramatic it’s being made out.
