    I can pretty much watch any movie in any genre that's not terrible. Horror, gore, found footage, creature movies, RomComs none of that bothers me. I've found my kryptonite, the movie Fall.

    I think I can do maybe 5 minutes at a time without pausing before I start physically feeling it. I'm determined to finish it, but it's rough.

    @paul it was a great movie. But the feelings of anxiety we feel when we watch those kinds of movies is what that's all about. We are safe in our homes while we watch the terrifying events.

    I used to skydive so maybe it doesn't bother me as much.

      The only other thing I go out of my way to not watch is rocket launches with people inside them. Thanks whoever decided schools should show the Challenger launch live!

          @paul I wasn’t quite old enough to see it live in school, but I do have a memory of watching a taped version of it … in school.

          Like, they didn’t learn the first time how traumatic that would be to a bunch of kids?

            @paul I was working in a cafe in a a tourist town in New Zealand & vividly remember telling American tourists coming in about what had happened. No live day time TV in NZ back then, was giving them a radio to listen to the news on.

              @paul I stood outside Columbia Elementary School in central Florida that day. Not great in hindsight.

                @paul I so felt that when watching it. I remember exactly where I was and when.

                  @paul I held my breath and said prayers for safe travels for the first q0 min of this launch. Trauma is real and sticks with us

                    @paul My daughter attended Christa McAuliffe elementary school. We had to explain who Christa McAuliffe was and what happened to her.

                      @paul I watched it in the school library on a 19" tv on one of those carts.

                      Everyone of a certain age knows those carts.

                        @jimmylittle @paul

                        I’m not sure there was always enough to go around for every classroom. I also only remember black and white TVs.

                        So there were certain times the entire class body was assembled in the gym, with one lone 19 inch tv at 6 ft height parked on the other side of the tge gym floor.

                        I don’t think a 19 inch TV was meant to project to quite a large group, but there you are.

                        We saw some moon walks, and Agnew resigning, as a group. We watched watergate hearings at home, after school

                          @paul My neighbor watched it at school. She grew up in Florida and every school showed them. She showed me that we can see it from the gulf course of Florida!
