Has anyone ever actually eaten one of those giant emergency food supply buckets they sell at Costco?

Has anyone ever actually eaten one of those giant emergency food supply buckets they sell at Costco? I can't imagine that shit tastes any good.

@JessTheUnstill Like, in one sitting? I'd pay to see that.

@JessTheUnstill Is it Mountain House? Some food connoisseurs might pass on freeze dried pasta and such, but after hiking 12 miles a hot rehydrated meal tastes pretty good. Biscuits and gravy with sausage is a personal favorite.

@smalladventures.net Yeah, like I've done some of those freeze dried meal kits they sell at camping stores for a night or two camping. But I can't even dream of living on it for weeks.

@smalladventures.net I rarely did them in my backpacking days, and if so it was just for a night or two. Though do check the serving count. Some of them say 300 calories but it's like 4 servings per package.
