        @JessTheUnstill Is it Mountain House? Some food connoisseurs might pass on freeze dried pasta and such, but after hiking 12 miles a hot rehydrated meal tastes pretty good. Biscuits and gravy with sausage is a personal favorite.

            @smalladventures.net Yeah, like I've done some of those freeze dried meal kits they sell at camping stores for a night or two camping. But I can't even dream of living on it for weeks.

              @smalladventures.net I rarely did them in my backpacking days, and if so it was just for a night or two. Though do check the serving count. Some of them say 300 calories but it's like 4 servings per package.
