far as I can tell, AI has already won; the battle is over

                the only remaining questions are

                1
will we be able to have any effective gov't regulation
                2
Will artists get compensated for theft
                3
will AI be big (say US $200 billion, about the size of the US air passenger industry) or really big, > US $1T/yr in revenue

@beyondmachines1 As much as I find this funny and very well deserved, I might have a problem with the word "rendered", as this description can fit pictures made with 3D software (like blender for example). I think "generated" would be a better fit, but it ruins the initial intent.
Or maybe "regurgitated" could work ? 🙂

@beyondmachines1 I'm going to stick with 'slop' because when I spend a week building models, making textures, and setting cameras and lights, I'm awfully glad there's a computer there to render it for me.

I went to college in the late 90s and early aughts working on a degree in Digital Imaging Technology (basically graphic design). Your comment just made me think of that.

@beyondmachines1 in my typography class in college, we were taught about CRAP, but we were told it stood for Contrast Repetition Alignment Proximity.

Clever idea: claiming victory at a very early stage while your war produced no victories at all, lots of bad press and massive collateral damages.
Which were the idea right from the start. Fun fact: There is no "compensation" for being killed / wiped out.

Learned this recipe for Victory from mastermind Trump?
