@faduda I like Inoreader, but I'm not an intensive user, there might be rough edges I'm not aware of

@faduda if you don't mind being tied to a browser, there's the unfortunately named feedbro which works as a browser extension in all major browsers.

@faduda I just run tt-rss on my own server which I think might be a bit niche; but I did see a really interesting one this morning:

        Link Preview Image
        Current

An RSS reader that doesn't count. What happens when you stop treating your feeds like an inbox and start treating them like a river.

@faduda I used FreshRSS for a while on a home server. I now use NetNewsWire and just export the list if I want to set up another. It seems to be a fraction of the effort.

@faduda I use Feedly too and just ignore the AI stuff. I also run freshRSS on my home server for a handful of must read feeds

@faduda I went looking last year, settled on Newsblur. It's fine, but I might look again for something simpler. Thread here has some comments you might find useful https://mastodon.ie/deck/@stancarey/114380702329709659

@davey_cakes @faduda I went to Inoreader too, and have liked it thus far.

@faduda If you'd like a fairly 1:1 recreation of Google Reader, I've had a good time with http://theoldreader.com/

@faduda I pay for @feedbin and it not only works super well and has none of that crap, its well-crafted filter/actions system lets me remove a bunch of keywords from sources that I otherwise need to read.
