Those are so fun! I have to work to keep them quiet, my therapist actually asked me what was that noise? at the end of a session

Good to know about the magnetic fidgets. I did adjust the descriptions to explain that they’re not silent and are clicky/crunchy. I’m working on possibly offering versions where they don’t make as much noise, but that’s hard to do with the magnet strength and the texture to help the magnets move. The smaller ones with only 12 magnets and a smooth finish are quiet though! My wife uses them all the time in sessions wit clients.

Anyway - so sorry for my wall of text. Let me know if you need something quieter, and I’ll work on doing prototypes sooner.

These are the two magnetic ones I bought. The aces are definitely quieter and it’s fun to be careful to keep them quiet. The tapes are definitely louder with the spinning centers (those were what my therapist noticed but I seriously LOVE them. They are so well made and designed. Also nostalgic so all this to say, ZERO complaints. Keep up the amazing work!

@DrFerrous 🫶 I remember making those for you! Thanks for the kind words, I’m always looking to improve and feedback helps me immensely as I work to iterate on my prints.

I have an idea for a smaller oval shaped magnetic fidget with textures on it that only slides up and down, with 3 vertical magnets. I want it to be relatively silent, but I need to find magnets that are both strong enough to ‘snap’ and also weak enough not to click too loudly.

If it’s ok with you, I’ll ping you if I make something that could be quieter and less noticeable to others.
