the record is now at 20

that's right, 1 iranian glide vehicle deploying a swarm of "penetration aids" (chaff, decoys) zooming right past TWENTY (20) interceptors and making the target

@SapphicGiraffic This isn't looney toons, it's a smart Iranian tactic taking advantage of an extremely stupid Israeli/Hegseth strategy.

Using decoys isn't new. Using people to examine footage to distinguish decoys from real target isn't new.

What's new is the use of "AI" to generate lots of coordinates of "legitimate" targets with little or no care whether or not the targets are actually legitimate. Even the Russians aren't that stupid.

But you see, Israel only uses "AI" mass target

@SapphicGiraffic determination as fig leaf laundering of bombing everywhere indiscriminately.

And Hegseth and other morons believe the AI hype despite the obvious lying, contradiction with reality, and contradiction with common sense.

AI doesn't care whether or not a target is legitimate. It just spits out however many coordinates per day is requested.

@SapphicGiraffic Both Russia and Ukraine use decoys. Basically everyone uses them. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Sometimes all they do is force the enemy to spend a little bit more time observing a real target before attacking it, which itself is worth a little something.
