Damn this is getting tiring
Umbria region is now complaining about SNCF getting some high speed train paths, complaining the Diretissima (thatâs important to Umbria) will be too congested
Iâd not even bank on SNCF being able to use the paths itâs allocated!

Really, the amount of politiciansâ hot air responding to rail industry hot air, and vice versa, gets excessive.

@jon What *is* Umbria running on the Direttissima? It doesn't look like it connects much of its territory, unless this is about stuff that runs local in Umbria and then express to Rome?
(EDIT: Okay, yeah, it's indeed the latter and somewhat hourly, too. I can understand their nervousness, even if it may not be all that reality-based)

@jon maybe we need to investment in an international balloon network instead?

@smveerman @HaTetsu with vMax 160, right?
So as SNCF surely has to pay something to upgrade the regional trains for higher speeds! đ«Ł
