Hey #3DPrinting
I have held onto this dehydrator with the idea that I would hollow out the trays and then could use it to dry filaments - is this a sound theory or should I just rely on silica and plastic bags?
I have a decent collection of spools, all years old but mostly kept in sealed Ziplocs. But one has just been on the printer which I'm about to fire up again once I have the garage semi-cleaned up.

@jpaskaruk I have used a dehydrator with filaments a few times. It was fine with pla, but when I used it with my alcohol soluble filament, the filament fused together on the spool and became brittle. I would save it for rescuing filaments after they behave like they have too much moisture.
