Is that a top priority? I would much better like to have curated onboarding as we have on Pixelfed and on most Fediverse platforms (my ER for that functionality was created so many months ago

@dansup in Smithereen I don't even require a username on signup any more. I just assign `idXXXX` derived from the database row identifier. I treat usernames as something decorative anyway.

@grishka Oh cool, yeah I'm super glad I went with snowflake id identifiers as @trwnh suggested, makes this much easier!
