So I finally figured out how to extract mac resource fork files onto Windows. Apparently MacinTalk 2 also had Mark Cecys on it as developer. It's not the WinTalker stuff, but it's the earlier LPC speech synthesizer that Mac used for a while.

How do I know it's Mark Cecys. Take a look at the resource name for one of the files that was extracted:

    ._MacinTalk 2_Cecy_1_BACKEND.bin
    ._MacinTalk 2_Cecy_3_FRONTEND.bin

@rommix0 Would you be able to extract the MacinTalk 3 dictionary file from MacOS 8 or 9? Curious if that data is compatible with the WinTalker code.

@rommix0 @datajake1999 Is this the version that had Boris in it? Sort of reminds me a little bit of eSpeak.

@rommix0 @datajake1999 Does this possibly mean we're gonna get an update to the NVDA addon?

@mckensie @rommix0 The file that was extracted actually results in worse pronunciations. The smaller file size made me think that was going to be the case, and indeed it was.

@datajake1999 @BorrisInABox two programs. HFSExplorer to extract the data and resource forks in AppleDouble format, then fire up WSL2 (linux running under windows) to run resource_dasm. It extracts the resources as individual files.
