@JamminJerry @mew @mcourcel Honestly I bought mine through Affirm at BestBuy. Oh wait, no I could afford more storage but BestBuy store I was at didn't have a 512. Goodness that feels like so long ago.
@pixelate Ah fuck I always forget about Best Buy. Lmfao @JamminJerry @mcourcel

@J3317 My damn S23+ is completely full. Rofl @pixelate @JamminJerry @mcourcel

@pixelate @mcourcel @mew @JamminJerry Oh, cool, i think i might of herd of it but forgot it's name, can't wait to try it, now there's so many screenreaders coming out all of a suddin, it's a bit crazy tbh but awesome at the same time.
@J3317 @mcourcel @mew @JamminJerry Yep, Pulsar even has a rotor gesture. Haven't tried that yet though.

@JamminJerry So my problem is, I like to store a lot of offline content on my mobile devices. So I either need a device with a shit ton of storage up front, or something that supports a Micro SD card slot, which is fewer and far between these days. @J3317 @pixelate @mcourcel

@pixelate @mew @mcourcel my actual credit is shit, but my credit threw t-mobile is really good. I have been with them for either six or seven years now. all I have to pay up front is the tax, and nothing down at all. when I first started with them, I think I had to pay close to 40 or 50 percent down. once you have been with them for three years, and you make payments on time, and such, then you don't have to do that.\

@pixelate Yeah, but if I were to flip the coin, I could say that accessibility API's on Android aren't nearly as developed as they are on iOS. No ability to add custom items to TalkBack's reading controls. No way to asign actions to TalkBack's page swiping gestures. ETC. @mcourcel @JamminJerry
@mew @mcourcel @JamminJerry Assign actions to... Oh like Mona? Yeah, that does suck. But that just means more items in the actions reading control. Lol. Imagine an app with like 20 actions.

@pixelate Yeah, actually you know, I did have that thought, just assign more actions, but lol! @mcourcel @JamminJerry

@pixelate Nah, 512 GB, I wish I had 2 TB lmao! @JamminJerry @mcourcel
@mew @JamminJerry @mcourcel My OnePlus 13 had 512 GB. And 16 GB RAM. But Samsung is a dream accessibility-wise compared to that. And now they're slowly going out of business, OnePlus that is.

@pixelate Yeah, and now Samsung's getting rid of the last stupid and potentially showstopping thing they had which is their stupid custom talkback. @JamminJerry @mcourcel
-
@pixelate That... Just sounds so damn hacky. @J3317 @JamminJerry @mcourcel @Mudb0y
@mew @J3317 @JamminJerry @mcourcel @Mudb0y Oh it was. I used that one Eloquence he found from the Braille Plus, native ARM I think. Codex set up a bridge for it and hacked the Emacspeaks speech server to work with it, and yes I was able to hook up the community dictionaries for it.

@pixelate Ah fuck I always forget about Best Buy. Lmfao @JamminJerry @mcourcel
@mew @JamminJerry @mcourcel Yep, it's right there. They may even have a Pixel 10, just waiting for you.
-
@JamminJerry Just the S24 series? I'm honestly really underwhelmed with the speakers on my S23+ to be completely honest with you. @pixelate @mcourcel
-
@mew @JamminJerry @mcourcel Yep, it's right there. They may even have a Pixel 10, just waiting for you.
@pixelate I think it's silly that the Pixel pro is the only phone that goes above 256 GB. @JamminJerry @mcourcel

@mew @JamminJerry @J3317 @mcourcel Man I bought a 512 GB SD Card for the BT-speak when I thought that was pretty cool, and returned the BT-speak and now I ain't got nothing that supports the darn thing. All that wasted storage.

@JamminJerry Yeah this is also the case on the S23. @pixelate @mcourcel
