Like I said before, the East Coast is so lacking in flavor. Too many white people with no spice tolerance. Probably why I came to like ma po tofu and Thai food and such so much out there. I want the really tasty chilies and peppers here.

@earth_walker I don't really remember at this point since both were over a decade ago. Even so, ethnic foods on the East coast are the only places to get real flavor, and those still do not compare to what is available out West where the food is actually grown.

@sudaksis I'll trust you on that since I've never been to the West coast. I have been to New Mexico and they had awesome Mexican food there.
I had to defend the East Coast's honor lol there is a lot of great food here

@earth_walker Sure. Technically, it was still the South and not the East but close enough to the coast to properly count. I think those extra days/weeks of prep and shipping to the East make a huge difference in freshness and quality. Powders and dried goods are the same but produce is just not. That's why Hardee's is a branch off Carl's Jr., (partly because of a copyright thing) because they can't use the same supply chain as the West. There is a lot of logistics involved that people are unaware of regarding food.

@sudaksis I'm sure the freshness makes a big difference! I would love to travel out there sometime and experience it myself

Hope your trip is going smoothly and safely!

@earth_walker Yes, trip is done and I'm at the new home. If you get the chance, I recommend visiting SoCal for sure. San Francisco, Monterey, Los Angeles even. Get some real sourdough, fresh caught salmon, local tacos. Unbeatable :3
