    @Nickiquote but imagine having such a void skull between the ears! The lightness! The peace, the limitless self-esteem, never to be interrupted by doubt... I envy them SO much.

      @sean

      This, apparently, although the Mail are not publishing the apparently secret policy document so you can read it for yourself.

      @Nickiquote the weird thing is how views have diverged so far that people take opposite meanings from the same thing

      Their article includes a video of Zack being perfectly normal and reasonable in a way that presumably gets DM readers riled up in anger

        @capnthommo @Nickiquote I'm really not sure they've thought through the impact of tagging the Greens as pro porn and pro drugs, I suspect there's a strong segment of their readership who will respond with "how do I vote for the pro drugs pro porn party?"

          @Nickiquote Surprised that the Daily Fail aren’t pro-porn because that “article” is a load of wank. 🤮

              @anominominominous The Daily Mail specialise in synthesising moral panics and they are not subtle about their intention to do so, down to aping old moral panic terms like “Red Menace”.

                            In very simplistic terms, I think a Green win in Gorton and Denton tomorrow would surely be the best option overall.

                            Starmer could get the boot as a result and in any case Labour might start trying to appeal to the left rather than endlessly chasing racists who would rather vote for full-throated fascism anyway.

                            A Reform win would be very bad news, of course, and a Labour win would only be seen as support for the miserable status quo and a “vote for fascism lite” message.

                                …and according to the polls there’s only a few hundred votes between them, and people probably don’t know which way would be best to vote tactically as a result. Good-o. #UKpol #greenparty
