A house sparrow looks like it's caught itself a small winged beetle of some kind. The bird itself appears to be missing part of its leg too
I'm growing to really like the lens, and bird photography!

Nothing but house sparrows today
I did spot some goldfinches and swallows though; but flying by far too quick for me to get a shot in.Hopefully pick up some more variety tomorrow as we're going to visit a couple of bird watching areas

Nothing but house sparrows today
I did spot some goldfinches and swallows though; but flying by far too quick for me to get a shot in.Hopefully pick up some more variety tomorrow as we're going to visit a couple of bird watching areas
