    Deputy Director of Software Engineering

The Deputy Director of Software Engineering in one of three program areas: Rider Tools, Transit Technology, or Fares Technology in the MBTA’s Technology Innovation Department (TID) plays a pivotal role within the software engineering group, collaborating closely with the Director of Engineering, Principal Architect, Software Product Managers, and leaders in design, program, and product management. Together, they strive to uphold engineering excellence in the distinct realm of civic technology, operating within the specific constraints of the MBTA.

@vathpela The requirement for 2+ jobs from the Tiobe top 20 is fun - knowing 'scratch' and perl should do then.

@penguin42 I guess the bigger question for me would be what qualifies as two jobs?

@amsomniac @antha @scribblesonnapkins I have no idea what hiring at the T is like, but IMO most job requirement tick marks are at least a bit fuzzy, so if you're otherwise qualified and interested, there's no downside to trying.
