@kdkorte @cnbc And misinformation? Humor? In Zuckerberg's pursuit for intelligence - sorry, superintelligence, this purchase is a must because the platform is an experiment to see how much autonomy the bots can achieve.

But autonomy and intelligence are not the same.

@AAKL @cnbc The problem is, they don't make money out of misinformation or humor. They make money out of showing ads. Everything else is just there to keep you watching. Given that AI agents can give the network 100% attention span, you really don't need anything except for ads and a bit of the data they are looking for.
Or said differently, dystopia without the cost of needing you to doomscroll.
