@deshipu I know but my point is that modern systems seem just not to support it any more.

@underseamonkey It usually takes some time to implement for any new bios/motherboard/whatever combination. Longer if it's niche hardware. For obscure out of tree single board computers that often means never.

@underseamonkey Sleep/ hibernation / suspend/ whatever is still something that eludes me on my Linux installs.
It works * brilliantly * on the #SteamDeck , so must be possible... but I've no idea how to start tracking down issues.
