Roll 19707201, cont.: Riverside, mostly (1970)
One: we lived in houses built around 1910 and not updated since the 1930s. Often the living room was lit by some glaringly ugly fixture in the center of the ceiling. But with war surplus parachute silk suspended from the corners of the room and a nice Indian scarf placed over the light (both items being cheap and easily available), the environment became much more pleasant. Very trippy.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for a couple of weeks out of town, so while I will still be checking in here frequently, I won't be in a position to process and show any more photos in the #retrobosak series till I get back. (My early start is why the photos above were posted about half a day earlier than usual.) The series should resume around May 20.
