@thelinuxEXP It took #Gnome such a long time to come out experimental for fractional scaling. I* applaud them for taking their time and doing it right.*
Rhetorical question: How long will it take them to implement age restrictions? Several more years? How can these sort of projects hope to move fast enough - making similarly deep architectural changes - to fulfill the radically-altering political whims of various governments??

#Linux #openSource@gtsadmin that's in general a hard topic and mostly unrelated to gnome. This needs to sit at a deeper level. Sure, gnome needs a design to ask for the birthdate, but that's the easy part here.

@thelinuxEXP Thanks! Seems my Papers on Fedora 44 beta is only version 49.5, so will have to wait for the annotation stuff for a bit. Awesome that you can write on PDFs which have a forms design, but no form fields. I actually have to use that sometimes.

Does it mean that the nasty behaviour of the "save as" file dialog is fixed, which triggers the file list selection filter although the focus is set on the filename entry field?
