PSA in case this gets traction: if you liked the movie, then do yourself a favour and read 'Story of your life', the novella by Ted Chiang on which the movie is based. Or anything by Ted Chiang, really; he's a phenomenal #scifi writer. He has published two collections of short stories: 'Stories of your life and others' (which includes the aforementioned novella) and 'Exhalation'.

@astro_jcm I read both collections of short stories, probably after you recommended them on a previous occasion. I loved them!

@jfg_astro Glad you liked them! You might want to try Greg Egan's short stories then. I recently finished his 'Axiomatic' collection and loved it.
