Hi Fedi!!
I'm planning a two week trip to the #UK in April. I'll be driving from London to the Scottish highlands and would love some input on interesting places along the way to stop, maybe some quint B&B's?
I'm thinking everything from historic villages, nature, hikes to museums and such.
Feel free to pitch in with ideas and I'll add them to my list to potentially see

@dalite@bark.lgbt oooo that sounds fun, enjoy

@dalite Whitby would probably be worth a stop. It's very quaint.

@dalite you've already been to Glasgow IIRC though there's still probably much you haven't seen. The wilds of Perthshire are good for driving round. Queen's View at Loch Tummel has some nice views from what I've seen driving past.
I will caution that the A9 road is 60mph single carriageway in a lot of bits with average speed cameras so watch out, the crossings can be sketchy too.

@dalite@bark.lgbt only thing that comes to mind is the National Railway Museum in York tbh but that’s just my inner train nerd speaking

@kevin Glasgow is the place I'll fly back from at the end of the trip so I'll note all this!

@dalite I can also recommend the Ayrshire coast if you like sea and small castles. Probably some B&Bs out that way too.
