              I MEANT to say Gentoo, its been a while since I installed Gentoo but I recall the stage3 wasn't actually very long at all to at least get to a working prompt.

              I'm sure there are better options since I last played with genny too too

                @jamie @hj Did you use it a long time ago? Stage3 has been a tarball for quite some time now, so just needs to have it unpacked in a filesystem, and then only thing left is effectively fetching portage tree and then getting bootloader + kernel.

                  @jamie @hj Did you use it a long time ago? Stage3 has been a tarball for quite some time now, so just needs to have it unpacked in a filesystem, and then only thing left is effectively fetching portage tree and then getting bootloader + kernel.
