    Installing #Debian 13 (trixie) on 2017-era laptop. Hardware is fine, but was built when #UEFI was barely supported yet,but had become standard.

    I struggled to boot after install (yes, I used UEFI installer).
    TIL

    💡 Old BIOS's have UEFI/LEGACY/ BOTH setting w/ a CSM Support Bit. Chose UEFI ONLY & CSM NO.

    💡old UEFI NVRAM is *tiny*. Mine was full. Deleting dump-* data wasn't enough. I had to delete 2 esoteric Boot options (such as IDE FDD 🤣) to even change another entry.
