@liaizon I wonder how many API keys you could get by scraping that dataset

@liaizon if the purpose of a system is what it does, this is a credential snatcher

          uughh...
surely at least one person on the team implementing this has found themselves evaluating some variation of localStorage.api_key = "SECRET_VALUE_THAT_SHOULDNT_BE_GOING_ANYWHERE"; 🤦

@s_ol @liaizon my best suggestion, the best one i can offer besides not using chrome, would be a helper function to register a {once: true} event which assigns the clipboard to wherever you need it to be (because clipboard can only be read from within a user interaction event last i checked)

@liaizon @nielsa avoiding anything from Google is a goal worth working towards.

@liaizon I’m always wondering why anyone would still use Chrome at all. Why not at least Chromium or something else altogether? I don’t get it.

I fervently believe that the cybersecurity guild should've diagnosed Chrome as a user-friendlier strain of the infamous adware/spyware search toolbars (ask, babylon, etc.).

This is just the syphilitic icing on the AIDS cake.

While I'm at it, what are some good ways to sync bookmarks and browser history across devices these days?
Seems to be the only thing google's Chrome has over the privacy-respecting options.

(not a feature I personally use, but I know people who consider that kinda functionality to be essential)
