    Sorry for the youtube link, but I think that Brian Berletic's analysis around this conflict points to key elements that trace back to many years. His context allows to better understand it, to know that this is something that has been brewing for years (no matter the color of the President). And that it all has to do with China.
    Yet... The US is stirring a key element of its power: the petrodollar. If Iran can really damage or coerce the Gulf monarchies into abandoning the dollar (or it destroys its oil exporting facilities), this could easily launch an economic chain reaction (these monarchies possess lots of investments in US economy, including AI)
