Have you ever considered migrating the chrultrabook project to a different primary payload, or is it too selfish and time-consuming in the wake of distros/bootloaders abandoning BIOS support?
- seabios
- uboot (with or without the UEFI support)
- Open Firmware (IEEE 1275)
- heads
If I was doing stuff with Chromebook firmware (or coreboot in general) I'd have made a little seabios-centric branch, for the sake of turning humdrum laptops and thin clients into DOS/Win9x/Win2k powerhouses. -

We're forking it to focus on what matters to us, without having to deal with screaming children or vibe-coding. -

Good for you (and everyone involved, really), but I'm still curious about the non-EDK payloads. -
