Self belief is a precarious notion. When it slips out of your hands it really can fall a long way down into the stinky water of the well.

          There's a certain amount of arrogance required to be alive. I'm oft reminded of how much we need to forget in order to believe what we believe and live in a functioning way and that in itself requires one to decide what is important and what is not.
